Why this book exists, and who wrote it

Preface

Machine learning looks huge from the outside. This book breaks the beginner path into fifteen focused days, from NumPy and Pandas, through regression, neural networks and PyTorch, to Transformers and the ideas behind modern GenAI, so that each day builds on the one before it. Every day has explanations, small examples, code, and checkpoint questions.

It is written for self-study: read a day, run the code, answer the checkpoints, then move on. The “Day 1” section lists the minimum prerequisites, and Part II bridges the fundamentals to LLMs, RAG, agents and MCP.

Who this book is for

Beginners who are comfortable with basic Python and want a clear, structured route into machine learning, deep learning, and GenAI, without skipping the fundamentals that make later topics make sense.
